Now Available- Virtual Consults and Training!!
Everyone seems to have a dog with a behavior issue that they'd like to improve or change. While some of these may be simple and just need a guidance to teach some basic cues or manners, others may be much deeper or more complex, causing you to be frustrated, aggravated or even fearful of your canine companion. Don't give up, I'm here to help.
As a nationally accredited and certified professional dog trainer (CPDT-KA), licensed and endorsed by Victoria Stilwell and a member of the Victoria Stilwell Positive Dog Training network (VSPDT) I will only use force-free, pain-free, science based, trust building, positive reinforcement methods. Animal research continually proves that these methods achieve the most reliable, effective and longest lasting results.
This also means that I will NOT use choke chains, prong collars, electric collars, leash corrections, hanging, hitting, kicking, slapping, physical force, alpha rolls, hollering, screaming, pack theory, pack leader or domination theory to teach. (Picture: Bear from Rumson)
We don't change using fear, we build and nurture trust; we don't change with force, we create a positive environment and a desire to learn; We don't change using control, we give choice, respect for our dog's emotions and value system and incorporate positive behavior modification; we don't change just your dog, we create a partnership; Build TRUST, TEACH Skills, CHANGE Behavior, ENJOY the Partnership!
TRUST means that your dog will feel ALWAYS safe, that the brain will able to learn, retain what's learned and even when your dog is nervous or scared, your dog will know that you'll keep him safe. (This is K9 Sanders)
Once you have your dog's trust, you'll be your dog's TEACHer. I'll show you how to do that using force free, fear free, pain free, science based, trust and bond building methods and protocols. (This is Rufus)
With learning comes CHANGE, turning negatives into positives, and that means your dog's life is more fun, less scary, very rewarding, awesome and safe. (This is Clyde from Garwood)
When you add up TRUST + TEACH + CHANGE, you have a dog that is happier, more confident and more trusting so life for you both is AWESOME- ENJOY!! (This is Bear from Egg Harbor)
